A visual identity reflecting the soft, nostalgic 80s-inspired sound of Better Person’s album, capturing its introspective pop character.

Something to Lose, the debut album by Better Person, was produced with Ben Goldwasser of MGMT. The project encompasses album and single cover artwork, tour visuals, video credits, and digital campaigns.
The design reflects the album’s influence from 1980s synth landscapes and soft pop sensibilities, translating its musical character into a cohesive visual language. The album cover pairs the title with evocative imagery that sets the tone for the record, while supporting elements such as tracklist layouts and LP labels use considered typographic restraint to maintain clarity and hierarchy.
This visual identity carries across posters, online campaigns, and ads on music platforms, aligning the look and feel of the campaign with the album’s sound and mood.
