A high-circulation magazine accompanying Germany’s hit TV show Die Höhle der Löwen, offering founders practical guidance andbehind-the-scenes insights.

Die Höhle der Löwen Magazine was created as a companion to Germany’s hugely popular TV show Die Höhle der Löwen, where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of investors. The show consistently reached millions of viewers, making innovative start-ups and entrepreneurial journeys accessible to a wide audience.
Launched with a strong circulation of 250,000 copies, the magazine provided founders with practical guidance on challenges like company management, production, financing, and startup growth. It also offered exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the TV production, connecting fans with the stories and processes that bring the show to life.
During my time at Gruner+Jahr, I was responsible for the magazine’s concept and overall visual direction. This included shaping the editorial concept, guiding the design, and ensuring the content was presented clearly and attractively. The goal was to engage both fans of the show and aspiring entrepreneurs, balancing journalistic professionalism with an inspiring, dynamic aesthetic that reflected the energy and innovation of the TV format.
